Religious Education
At Bishop Ian Ramsey C of E Primary School we believe Religious Education will help educate for dignity and respect encouraging all to live well together.
The aim is for children to know about and understand Christianity as a diverse global living faith through the exploration of core beliefs along with an understanding of World Religions such as Judaism, Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism.
We recognise the importance of teaching RE in a creative, broad and balanced way. Learning activities will cater for the needs of all pupils, so that they develop a wide range of skills including enquiry, analysis, interpretation, evaluation and reflection.
