Bishop Ian Ramsey Church of England Primary School

Computing

At Bishop Ian Ramsey, we want our children to know more, remember more and understand more in Computing so that they leave primary school computer literate. We have developed a Computing curriculum that not only prepares our children to live safely in an increasingly digital society but inspires them to go out and ‘change the world!’. In doing so, we believe that the children will be upholding our Christian vision to ‘Shine as a Light in the World’ (Philippians 2:15).

We use the Purple Mash Computing Scheme of Work, which is a comprehensive set of resources aligned to the National Curriculum for Computing, Technology and Digital Competence.

Please see below for important documents linked to our Computing curriculum.
